Mindboard Lite User's Guide
Mindboard Lite is an Android app to create a mind map with simple and intuitive operation.
It is optimized for Android 2.3 tablets.
Key Features
- You can create a mind map with intuitive operation.
- You do not have to use keyboard. You can create a mind map by free hand drawing.
- You can draw a large map with shift and zoom.
- Your mind map can export PDF as vector without any degradation.
Usage
It has three screens.
Screen-1 Mind map finder

- It is a screen to manage the your maps.
- Move to Screen-2 by double tapping the map.
Screen-2 Edit mind map
 |
- It is a screen to create a mind map.
- Move to Screen-3 by double tapping the node on the mind map.
- Back to Screen-1 by tapping the Android hard key back button.
Screen-3 Editing node

- It is a screen to edit drawing on the node.
- Back to Screen-2 by tapping the Android hard key back button.
Usage in each screen
Screen-1 Mind map finder

- Add a new mind map ... Select the Android hardkey menu button and then press the Add menu item.
- Copy the mind map ... Select a mind map to copy by tapping it. And then select the Android hard key menu button and select the Copy menu item.
- Delete the mind map ... Select a mind map to delete by tapping it. And then select the Android hard key menu button and select the Confirm Delete menu item.
- Change the mind map order ... Long-press the mind map to change order. And then drag it to the new location.
Other Features
- Data management ... Select the Data Management menu item from the menu. → Selection dialog is shown.
- Export data ... Export all mind map data into the SD card.
- Import data ... Import the mind map data from the SD card.
- (※) This feature is for data migration from the free version to the paid version.
Screen-2 Edit mind map

- Edit drawing on the node ... Move to the edit screen when you double-tap the node.
- Adding a node ... Drag the (+) mark.
- Moving the node ... Long press the node to move. And then drag it on the destination node.
- Delete the node ... (x) mark is shown on the branch when you select a node. And tap the (x) mark to delete the node and its children one.
- (x) mark will not be shown if the branch is too short.
- It will also be deleted children nodes of the selected node.
- Set color drawing on the node ... Choose a color from the color selection panel when you select a node.
- Set the color of the branch ... Choose a color from the color selection panel when you select a branch.
- Shift and scale the mind map
- Shift ... Drag white space the mind map with one finger.
- Scaling ... Pinch in / out with two fingers.
Other Features
- Export as PDF ... Choose the menu key on Android, select the PDF export menu item. To view generated PDF document , it is need to be installed PDF Viewer app like Adobe Reader.
- Change the theme ... Choose the menu key on Android, change theme and select the menu item.Choose a theme from the list of themes.

- Pen mode ... You can draw your ideas on the screen.
- Eraser mode ... Delete the stroke that you draw.
- Shift and Scale mode ... Shift drawing and Scale drawing.
- Shift ... Drag white space the mind map with one finger.
- Scaling ... Pinch in / out with two fingers.
- Undo ... Do undo.
- Redo ... Do redo.
- Clear ... Clear drawing in the node.
